WHAT IS THE VISIT PHILLIP ISLAND PASS? The Visit Phillip Island Pass program is designed to encourage travel for interstate visitors to Phillip Island over July, August and September 2022. This is a joint project of Destination Phillip Island and supported by the Commonwealth Government Recovery for Regional Tourism Program. The holiday pass is only open to application by residents aged over 18 residing in States and Territories of Australia except VICTORIA at the time of the voucher application. It is subject to Public Health Directions and associated travel restrictions that apply to residents of eligible states at the time of registering for the ballot.


HOW DO I CLAIM A PASS? Book 2+ nights paid accommodation from a commercial supplier or booking platform (either hard roof or caravan park) at Phillip Island and San Remo properties, and complete an application form with the details. Valid postcodes for accommodation properties include: 3922, 3923, 3925, 3995, 3996, 3984. There are a limited number of passes available for travel from 1 July 2022 to 31 October 2022. Applications will close when all vouchers have been allocated.


HOW DO YOU PROVE YOU'RE FROM INTERSTATE? The application form will ask applicants to select a form of ID and a home address to verify they are NON-Victorian residents. Destination Phillip Island Inc. reserves the right to request sight of the identification document before or after a Visit Phillip Island Pass is redeemed.


HOW MUCH IS THE PASS FOR AND HOW CAN THEY BE USED? There will be 1440 x $250 Visit Phillip Island Passes available for application. This can be used to purchase registered tours, activities, experiences, and hospitality on Phillip Island and San Remo listed on the Visit Phillip Island Pass website.


WHEN ARE THE TRAVEL PERIODS FOR THE VISIT PHILLIP ISLAND PASS? The Visit Phillip Island Pass eligible travel period is between 1 July 2022 to 31 October 2022.


WHEN IS THE BOOKING PERIOD? The application process is open from 8 June 2022 till 28 October 2022 or until the pass allocation is exhausted.


WHY IS THE BOOKING/TRAVEL PERIOD SO SHORT? We are incentivising travel in a critical period to encourage visitation in winter.


IS THERE ANY POTENTIAL TO EXTEND THE TRAVEL OR BOOKING PERIOD? There are no plans to extend the travel period or booking period.


WHAT DOES THE $250 VISIT PHILLIP ISLAND PASS COVER? The Visit Phillip Island Pass provides $250 towards spend on attraction experiences, tours and hospitality registered on the Visit Phillip Island Pass listing in the iVenture mobile App.


WHAT WILL BE THE ALLOCATION PROCESS? The pass will be issued upon successful validation of your paid accommodation booking for a minimum of 2 nights at Phillip Island/San Remo and valid postcodes.


HOW DO I RECEIVE THE VISIT PHILLIP ISLAND PASS? Successful recipients will be notified by email within 48 hours of application and asked to download the their pass to be able to spend their pass on arrival at Phillip Island with registered businesses.


WHAT IF I MISS OUT ON A PASS? There are only 1440 passes available. At this stage there is no plan for additional pass releases nor any appeals process.


HOW DO I REDEEM MY VISIT PHILLIP ISLAND PASS? Once you receive your Visit Phillip Island Pass and download the pass then spend can take place at the activities within the nominated travel period, being 1 July 2022 to 31 October 2022.


CAN I SPEND MY PASS ON MORE THAN ONE PROVIDER? Yes, subject to the amount you have available. Like a credit card, the pass will calculate your balance after each transaction. If you need assistance during your stay please contact the Phillip Island Visitor Information Line for assistance on 1300 366 422 between 10:00 am and 4 pm (AEDT), Monday to Sunday.


WHAT IF I SPEND LESS THAN $250? The pass credit will expire at 11.59pm on 31 October 2022 any unused funds will not be available.


WHY ARE YOU NOT INCLUDING VICTORIANS IN THE PASS PROGRAM? This program sets out to attract interstate visitation to the region in the low season providing economic stimulation to the region and state. Victorians have been able to access various pass programs supported by the State over the last 2 years.


DOES THE TRAVEL PERIOD INCLUDE THE NIGHT OF THE DAY LISTED IN THE ELIGIBLE TRAVEL PERIOD? No, the eligible travel period ends at 11:59pm on 31 October 2022.

WHO IS ADMINISTERING THE PROGRAM? The program is being administered by Destination Phillip Island Inc and SmartVisit.

WHAT HAPPENS IF A SUCCESSFUL BALLOT RECIPIENT IS UNABLE TO TRAVEL DUE TO BORDER RESTRICTIONS OR VICTORIA IS IN LOCKDOWN? In these instances, Destination Phillip Island will be guided by Public Health advice and will issue updated information and advice on the Phillip Island Tourism website, www.visitphillipisland.com.au. We advise all travellers to Victoria to monitor changes to border policies through coronavirus.vic.gov.au The cancellation and refund process for consumers will operate in accordance with each participating tourism businesses' policies.


HOW WERE PARTICIPATING BUSINESSES SELECTED? Phillip Island and San Remo tourism partners -tours and attraction businesses had the opportunity to apply to be part of the Visit Phillip Island Pass program through a registration process.


CAN THE PRODUCT LISTING BE A GIFT PASS? No, the Visit Phillip Island Pass cannot be used to purchase gift passes.


CAN THE VISIT PHILLIP ISLAND PASS BE TRANSFERRED TO OTHER TRAVELLERS? No, the Visit Phillip Island Pass is non-transferable.


CAN THE VISIT PHILLIP ISLAND PASS BE USED BY THE CONSUMER ON ANY DAY OF THE WEEK? Yes, the Visit Phillip Island Pass is available on any day of the week, including weekends, subject to availability and during the stipulated travel period.
